Gayathri Educational & Charitable Trust
Gayathripuram Educational & Charitable Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental, and charitable organization which was initiated and set up in the year 1982.
The Trust has been registered under Indian Trusts Act Vide Registration Number 298/05 and has been functioning in the southern parts of MYSORE in INDIA.
Gayathripuram Educational & Charitable Trust is working for the upliftment of the poorest of poor in the outskirts of south MYSORE CITY of KARNATAKA, INDIA
The activities include providing quality education at free of cost, encouragement of learning, essential Computer Education, offering school uniforms, text, and notebooks, school bags, etc.
Sponsoring of mid-day meals to encourage primary education and tutoring services to children of an economically weaker section of the society.
HISTORY
1982
Gayathri education society was formed and registered on 20th March 1982. By our founder Mr. Aijaz Ahmed, After completing his Masters in Science from Mysore University with a sole intention of educating the downtrodden of Gayatripuram an ex-military personal colony. Started Nursery school and enrolled about 50 students by surveying the area personally. and started teaching them later, it was converted into a higher primary school by obtaining permission and recognizing from the education department government of Karnataka, the residents mainly belong to the weaker section of the society such as cart puller, auto drivers, vegetable vendors, ex-military pensioners.
2014
The residents were very happy to send their children to our school.
As the Area at that time had no school, till this school came into being.
Later the society was converted into the education trust called “Gayathripuram educational trust”. This Educational Trust is even registered with FCERA Government of India. (now under renewal process)
2018
Now, There are about 250 students studying in this school already.
About 4000 students have passed out from our school and have completed their higher education and many are even employed in government services.
One of our students is a Leading advocate in Karnataka high court Bangalore. and has bought Laurel for our organization.
Some of our students have even employed as lecturers in some of the colleges & schools.
VISION
Establishment of residential school by expanding an already existing institution. Boarding schools offer a variety of benefits to students. The number of leaders and successful members of society began their journey at a private school: former presidents, actors, athletes, successful business people, and other politicians.
MISSION
At present, 95 million people in India are above the age of 60, by the year 2025 nearly 80 million more will be added to this population bracket. With improved life expectancy rate in our country, it’s estimated that as many as 8 million people are currently above the age of 80 years. Changing the family value system, economic compulsions of the children, neglect, and abuse has caused elders to fall through the net of family care. Homes for the Aged are ideal for elderly people who are alone, face health problems, depression and loneliness.
CAREER
A science that deals with pre-hospital emergency services is called Paramedical science; and a person working in this field is referred to as a paramedic. The major areas of work in the field of paramedical sciences are spinal injury management, fracture management, obstetrics, management of burns and assessment, and evaluation of general accident scene. The increasing demand for skilled paramedical professionals has opened up several career opportunities for young aspirants.
